Kuoma (or Janna) is an awesome artist and an awesome person, so I knew I wanted to draw her, but just didn't have any ideas. Then I saw her shout board. She had only three stamps and one of them said, "I Support Size Acceptance," something I've never seen on any skinny chick's page. (Maybe you have, please tell!)
So I thought of having her surrounded by fat fairies. She's got some great stock, so it didn't take long to find the (almost!) perfect shot. The profile just wasn't working, so I used another photo for the face. Doing some more experimenting with hard lines and water color. 10ish" X10ish", notebook paper, watercolor pencils, sepia micron, black micron. Girl: [link] Top right fairy: [link] |
